Losing Comes in with 1908 Plays and Rises the Charts; Concert Updates + POTW

If you missed our update yesterday, Mike was down at the BigStuf conference in Daytona Beach, and the acoustic set was streamed live. He played with several other christian artists and sang an acoustic version of “Times” – click HERE for videos and details.

Also, as we previously reported on, a new press release has been put out! Since so many websites are publishing the release at once, we’re going to go ahead and make a list of the articles:

  1. Jesus Freak Hideout
  2. Christianbook.com
  3. CM Spin
  4. Your Music Zone

A cool new photo from Kelsey Buyert of the guys at Risefest:

Losing is my favorite followed by By Your Side and then You Are More. Losing is much better musical flavor than either song and has a fantastic message. That’s what sets it apart from BYS. It’s a great message, but one we’ve heard before on other Christian songs. Losing is almost unique, beside Matthew West’s Forgiveness.

You Are More is also good, but too repetitive for me. It wasn’t as good as Healing Begins or Strong Enough to Save.

I agree, but I LOVE “You Are More”‘s message. And yeah, “Losing” is musically advanced – that Brendon Shirley knows how to play them keys.

By Your Side is my favorite even though You Are More led me to become a fan of Tenth Avenue North. Losing is also great nevertheless.
