Sometimes, you just find a verse and go, “Wow, I NEED to share that!” And sometimes, just tweeting it isn’t enough. So here’s a thread devoted to spontaneous bible verses that need to be shared.

    Romans 14:7-8

“For none of us live for ourselves alone, and none of us die for ourselves alone. If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.”

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
    1 John 4:10

“Salvation is not a tolerance of sin but a deliverance from sin”

    Jeremiah 29:11 (My favorite :)
For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you a hope and a future.

This is what gets me through those seemingly hopeless days :)

My whole being will exclaim, “Who is like you, Lord? You rescue the poor from those too strong for them, the poor and needy from those who rob them.”

    Psalms 35:10

The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, 25 nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything.

    Acts 17:24-25

I found out about this verse from Mike Donehey ^_^

“Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk, whithout money and without cost.” ~Isaiah 55:1~
This verse is significant to me because it just shows me that all God asks us to do to receive his love, freedom, and forgiveness (and the wine of His Spirit) is to COME.

for our God is a consuming fire. Hebrews 12:29
(I love the whole chapter soo much and this is a perfect way to sum it up and it’s a beautiful verse <3)

Yes indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish that I may gain Christ. ~ Philippians 3:8
I love this verse because we hang to so many things that won’t gain us Christ so if I have to loose everything to gain Christ so be it. Kinda reminds me of All the Pretty Things.

Ephesians 2:4-10, But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by Grace you have been saved), and raised us up together and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by GRACE you have been saved through Faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the GIFT of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Teach me Your way, O Lord
I will walk in Your truth
Unite my heart to fear your name.

Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God…
    Revalations 12:6
Granted, Revalations can be kinda confusing, but this shows me that in the midst of chaos and evil, Christ has a place prepared for me. And all the children of God will be with Him; it just gives me so much comfort.

    Psalm 150:1
    1. Praise the Lord.
    Praise God in his sanctuary;
Praise Him in his mighty heavens.
    2. Praise Him for His acts of power;
praise Him for His surpassing greatness.
3 Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet,
praise Him with the harp and lyre,
4 praise Him with timbrel and dancing,
praise Him with the strings and pipe,
5 praise Him with the clash of cymbals,
    praise Him with resounding cymbals.
6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
    Praise the Lord!

I love that one because it is all praise to God!

“For God hasen’t given us a sprit of Fear; But one of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (Judgement) 2 Timothy 1:3
